The Return of the #Exeter #TweetUp !!!

It was great to see the return of the Tags TweetUp on Thursday 21st April at a brand new venue, The Oddfellows on New North Road, Exeter. This is now going to be a regular event as Yvan (the boss) has installed wifi at the venue and there are even rumours of a Twitter Wall (TBC) at the event in May (19th by the way). The aim is to meet at The Oddfellows every 3rd Thursday of the month between 6 & 8pm, with live music coming on straight afterwards for anyone who wants to make a full night of it.

The Twitter account for TagsExeter has now changed names too and is called @ExeterTweet, so if you see this strange, new name cropping up in your Home Feed, don't be surprised. Rob Glover runs the account and will be happy to field any questions you have about future events.

We had a few hardcore tweeters who attended, including Ann Holman, Becky Moore, John Harvey, Emma Ranson Bellamy, Mike Lemon, Dan Cave, and a brief appearance from Kristen Sousa too. If I've missed anyone out, please accept my apologies... the Guinness was obviously doing it's job!

So, now we're up and running again with a regular time slot, brilliant venue and willing participants, lets spread the word and tell everyone what we're up to. It would be great to get some non-tweeters along who are interested in finding out what it's all about. Myself @MrMattYoung and @robglover_uk are happy to sit down with any newbies between 6 & 7pm to help set you up with a Twitter account or simply answer any questions you have. 

We all look forward to seeing you there in the coming months.

Cheers Scott and well done for giving this a push again. I know Rob Glover is keen to help with pushing this forward – it would be good to get a bank of people keen on helping and perhaps sharing the organisation around.

What Do You See Tags Being?

Ok, so Tags has been a bit slow.

But lets give it a push together and get it up and running.

First of all, you can see this is a Posterous account. If you want to write here, then give me and shout and I'll add you.

Second of all, let's no wait for dates when everyone can make it - let's just do one a month, or more if people to meet up impromptu.
